Abstract

The traditional style of chairmanship may inhibit or destroy creativity, while a dynamic approach may encourage a comfortable and productive atmosphere. The basic steps of the dynamic model are: stating the problem, discussing it, restating the problem as each participant understands it, and taking the group on a metaphoric vacation. At the end of this digression, the leader asks for possible solutions to the original problem. After reaching a solution, or after ideas run dry, another member of the group assumes the role of chairman.
