This is a Spanish version. This case focuses on the expansion of the largest Spanish banks - Santander, BBV, and BCH - throughout Latin America during the last ten years. It presents quantitative and qualitative information regarding the motives behind the banks' international expansion, their choice of markets and entry modes, the structure of their operations, and the specific strategies that they followed in order to attract customers.
