Abstract
This case consists of a letter from Herb Kelleher, executive chairman of Southwest Airlines, to Elliott Weiss, an operations professor at the Darden School. In his letter, Kelleher responds, thoughtfully and in detail, to two Darden cases concerning the experiences that a Darden student had while flying Southwest Airlines and JetBlue Airways. The case is a good follow-on for both ''Marlene’s Marvelous Adventure: Southwest Airlines'' (UVA-OM-1152) and ''Marlene’s Marvelous Adventure: JetBlue Airways'' (UVA-OM-1153).
