Abstract
A newly-minted PhD's course on the economics of international trade becomes embroiled in student controversy when an aggressive male student appears to be challenging the inexperienced female professor - who, in turn, is strongly urged by four women students, in private, to rein in the 'offender'. 'Melinda Harris' must choose between a stern approach to the bright but aggressive student and the approach she had believed would work; hoping his 'show-off' behavior would subside over the course of the semester.
