Abstract

Sarah Norton has given up her graduate assistantship in the MBA program at the university to manage the local office of Wise Research. Wise Research collects data for clients in the largest mall in the city. Sarah began her two weeks of training for the position in Dallas at another Wise Research location. Overlooked interview clues blossom as she interacts with other Wise Research personnel, and soon she discovers questionable business practices imbedded in the corporate culture of Wise Research. Sarah had sacrificed a lot to accept this position, yet she finds herself very uncomfortable as she nears the end of her first week of training. Can she adjust to the organizational climate she has found at Wise Research?
