Abstract
This case discusses the regulation of gambling and betting over the Internet. Using the confrontation between the United States and the tiny island of Antigua as a ''critical juncture'' for the evolution of market regulation, it asks what policy position an established land-based casino group in the US should take. The case enables students to consider the market and non-market strategic imperatives in an environment characterised by economic and legal uncertainty.
