Abstract

The Samsung (Berlin) case describes the revitalisation of a former East German producer of Cathode Ray Tubes for TV. Attention is paid to the sequence of programmes implemented to revitalise the plant as well as the cultural problems between Korean managers and German workers. This case contains colour exhibits. This case was submitted for inclusion in the Indiana University CIBER Case Collection through a CIBER-sponsored case competition.
