The second of a four-case series (389-006-1 to 389-009-1), this case describes the implementation choices made by Eurochem, a large US chemical firm''s European area, to integrate Francoplast, a small French speciality pipe producer. It also describes the post-merger process between April ''83 and ''84, as the newly appointed General Manager struggles with the reality of the acquisition and corporate expectations.
