Abstract
This video contains two videos to be used in conjunction with the case. Video one is footage on LEGO's European Distribution Center owned and operated by DHL in Jirny, January 2007. It shows the DC operation and the range of activities performed in Jirny. The video was shot by LEGO and provides a basic introduction to and impression of the warehouse, which can be useful in an introductory level course on supply chain management. Video two was recorded by IMD showing Egil Moeller Nielsen of LEGO and his DHL counterpart in an open-enrollment class session at IMD, March 2009. The two executives outline their views on the preceding class discussion, key issues at the time, and the progress achieved. The video, which also includes responses to participants' questions, is particularly effective in bringing alive the notion of the 'four musketeers,' ie; exhibiting a change in mindset that allowed them to advance the project and succeed with the implementation.
