Abstract

This is the third of a three-case series. Clickmango's founders, Robert Norton and Toby Rowland, knew that their discussions with Atlas Ventures to secure bridge financing of GBP300,000 represented the last throw of the dice for their online start-up business. When Atlas confirmed it was not prepared to press ahead, Norton and Rowland knew the time had come to close the business down. Clickmango ceased trading at the end of July 2000.
