Abstract
This technical note offers a guide that may help the process of learning the secrets of winning teams. First, it defines what a team is, distinguishing it from other types of working groups. Second, it shows what characteristics the team members need to have to form a winning team. Then it goes through the stages of team development and reviews the basic processes teams need to master in each stage. Finally, it explains how to build team commitment and performance.
