Abstract

At the end of 1992, Idom was waiting to hear whether it had been chosen to manage the construction project for the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. This commission would attract international attention, as it would involve working with the most important modern and contemporary art institution in the world, the Guggenheim Foundation, and one of the world''s most famous architects, Frank O Gehry. Idom''s managers, led by their president, Felipe Prosper, were wondering what benefits (profit and prestige) they could gain from this project and whether they would be able to meet their client''s targets regarding completion date, budget and quality. This case was previously numbered 699-024-1.
