About Hult Case Publishing

“Success in business is as much about understanding cultures and globalization as it is about understanding finance and marketing - Hult is committed to educating not just leaders of businesses, but leaders of the world.” Bertil Hult, Entrepreneur and Benefactor

In support of this vision, Hult Case Publishing applies our innovative and experiential approach, alongside a global mindset, to engage a new generation of global students. We do this by creating distinctive and relevant teaching materials that:

  1. Capture the key trends and most contentious issues in global business today, particularly those in emerging and developing markets, with a focus on transforming behavior and creating disruption.
  2. Require application of relevant skills revealed in Hult's in-depth discussions with business leaders. These include creativity, communication, adaptive and systems thinking, and managing responsibly.
  3. Aim to move teaching materials into the 21st Century by making them more engaging and increasingly interactive to resonate with today’s digital generation.

Hult’s cases are suitable for undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs and all cases are accompanied by teaching notes. We also publish short background or ‘technical’ notes on topics of particular interest that instructors may find helpful as assigned reading. These materials are appropriate for graduate and executive education programs, as well as for Board discussion and corporate executive training.

About Hult International Business School

Hult’s history is woven of two stories, one beginning in 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts, the other in 1959 just outside of London.

Hult traces its history to 1964 and the founding of the Arthur D. Little School of Management, America’s first corporate university. It was renamed Hult International Business School in 2003, honoring benefactor Bertil Hult. In 2015, Hult entered into a strategic alliance with the Ashridge Business School in the U.K., bringing together Hult’s global network and scale in degree programs with Ashridge’s expertise in research and international executive education, thereby creating one of the world’s most distinctive global business schools.

Today, Hult is a dynamic and multicultural community that educates, inspires and connects some of the most forward-thinking business talent from around the world. It has campuses in Boston, San Francisco, Dubai, London, Shanghai, New York and at the historic Ashridge Estate outside London. The school offers a complete portfolio of business educational services including MBA, Executive MBA, Master and Bachelor degree programs, executive education and business coaching and consulting services. Hult is an active signatory to the Principles of Responsible Management (PRME) and strives to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) values into all its core courses and teaching materials.

Hult is also home to the Hult Prize, an initiative in partnership with the United Nations wherein teams from business schools around the world are challenged to use their business skills to address a major social challenge. The winning team each year receives USD1 million from the Hult Foundation to pursue their idea. For more information and the current year’s challenge for students, see www.hultprize.org.
