21 October 2008

ecch is delighted to announce that Professor Stuart Read of IMD, Professor Donald Sull of the London Business School, Professor Josep Valor of IESE Business School and Professor Douglas Webber of INSEAD have joined its Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee, comprising up to twelve academic representatives of member organisations, meets three times a year to establish ecch policy and oversee operations.

Professor Read commented "As we move into the 21st century, the power of community is emerging as one of the driving forces behind new ideas and innovation. ecch enables a powerful interactive community that shapes new ideas and thinking both in the academic community and in the executive community. IMD is proud to be an active member of the ecch community, and we see bright possibilities for what it might enable in the future."

Professors Read, Sull, Valor and Webber join the committee following the retirement of long-standing committee members Professor H Landis Gabel of INSEAD, Professor Benoit Leleux of IMD, Dr Martyn Pitt of Brunel University and Mr John Quarendon of Thames Valley University.
