About the University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Business and Economics

The Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE), offers a full range of high quality degree programmes and serve different business and community needs. As Asia’s premier international business school, the Faculty has pioneered the International MBA Programme with Fudan University in Shanghai back in 1998, and a joint degree programme – EMBA Global Asia with Columbia Business School (CBS) and London Business School (LBS) in 2008.

Its MBA full time programme, offered in partnerships with CBS and LBS has a strong Asia and China focus and was ranked Asia’s no. 1 in the World MBA Rankings released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in 2010.

About ACRC

The Asia Case Research Centre (formerly Centre for Asian Business Cases) was established in 1997. The ACRC is the region's premier producer of business cases. The centre works closely with faculty and company executives to extract and present learning experiences from real-world problems and opportunities.

Our mission is to advance learning and teaching in business education through the development of business cases that are timely, informative and capture the diversity of regional business context.

  • The ACRC has over 450 publications on a wide range of industries
  • Over 1,000 universities and nearly 350 companies used ACRC cases in 2010.

The ACRC has also produced multimedia materials. The ACRC's Business Leader series is the first ever university produced series to be aired by BBC World News.
