Scott is Deputy Head of Worcester Business School, a Principal Lecturer in Leadership and Business and Course Leader for the Executive Education Programme, which includes the Exec MBA and all Business Apprenticeships. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is also responsible for the Business Development and External Engagement team at Worcester Business School.

His own research interests are located in Leadership and Management Education, with particular focus on Participant Centred Learning and the case method. Having previously worked at the Royal Agricultural University, Cardiff University and the Open University, Scott has been lecturing and researching since 1996 and has also led over 150 international educational programmes in more than 30 different countries. Scott is research active and interested in leadership, strategy and management and the way that not-for-profit organisations adjust during seasons of growth. He is also interested in how we learn as a keen user of the case method approach to learning.
