Scott is Head of Worcester Business School, a Principal Lecturer in Leadership and Business and author of The Case Study Companion (Routledge, 2021). He has led over 150 international case based programmes in more than 30 different countries. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Chartered Manager having been awarded the Champion of the Year award by the Chartered Management Institute in 2022. 

Scott’s own research interests are located in Leadership and Management Education, with particular focus on Participant Centred Learning and the case method. Scott has been lecturing and researching since 1996 and has held posts at Cardiff University, the Open University and the Royal Agricultural University. In his current role, Scott leads the Participant Centred Learning in Management Education (ParCeL) Research Group and has participated in a range of externally funded research projects.
