About this free webinar

This 60-minute webinar will be hosted by Hazel Walker from The Case Centre, and led by Claire Beswick from Wits Business School.

In the webinar Claire will share her experiences and expertise built up over more than 20 years of writing case studies set in emerging markets.

At this webinar we will discuss:

  • what makes a good case
  • how to start the case writing process
  • challenges in case writing and how to overcome them
  • the importance of local context in case studies
  • how to submit to the Case Focus journal.

The webinar will include a Q&A session. As the webinar will be an interactive session, we ask that all participants are ready to join the discussion with their audio and video on.

This webinar will be particularly interesting for:

  • faculty from any academic discipline who have little experience of writing cases for teaching purposes
  • those who are keen to begin writing cases or wish to enhance their case writing skills
  • business-based trainers interested in preparing in-house material for employee and organisational development.
