Lund University’s Jan Olhager was delighted to receive the Case Awards 2023 Production and Operations Management trophy.

Jan won the award for his case, co-authored with Kasra Ferdows of Georgetown McDonough School of Business, IKEA Goes Online: Implications for Its Manufacturing. The case explores IKEA’s challenge of adapting its massive system, originally designed for a brick-and-mortar structure, to cater to its rapidly growing online sales.
