Namratha is an Assistant Professor at IBS Hyderabad where she teaches marketing and strategy. Her research particularly focuses on strategic management, new product development and marketing communications. She has been working at the IBS Case Research Center at IBS Hyderabad since 2013 and, prior to this, worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Faculty at IBS Hyderabad use the case method predominantly as a medium of instruction and Namratha is a strong advocate of the case method. She has written a great many cases and articles and has received recognition for her work from EFMD, CEIBS and The Case Centre. With her co-author, she won The Case Centre’s 2016 Ethics and Social Responsibility category award for the case IKEA in Russia: Ethical Dilemmas.
