Martin Kupp is professor for entrepreneurship and strategy at ESCP Europe, Paris and a visiting professor at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT), Berlin. Before that Martin worked as a programme director at ESMT, Berlin and a lecturer and research assistant at the University of Cologne, where he also received his doctoral degree.

Martin has been a workshop tutor for The Case Centre since 2009 and has delivered over 40 case training events. Martin's book, The Ultimate Case Guide: How to Successfully Write and Teach Case Studies, co-authored with fellow workshop tutor Urs Mueller, will be published in 2024.

Martin’s areas of expertise include entrepreneurial decision making, venture scaling and competitive strategy. In 2020, he co-founded Renaissance Fusion, the first European fusion energy start-up with the objective of bringing fusion energy out of the lab onto the grid.
