Abstract
Kenton Lee (Kenton) a man who wanted to be a missionary, founded 'Because International', with the aim of being committed to practical compassion in life. He invented the shoe that grows, an adjustable shoe that could expand up to five sizes and last for five years. His innovative distribution model, wherein he distributed the shoe via non-profit partnerships, helped him reach the children in need of basic footwear in Africa. Kenton funded his invention through crowdsourcing and having distributed his first batch of shoes, he was busy with manufacturing the second batch. Kenton had plans to start work on his next project, a mosquito net which children could use even while sleeping outdoors. Experts wondered about the plans Kenton had for the future of Because International.
