Abstract
While observing a class in progress, one of the executive directors of a student initiative to teach management fundamentals in several states of the former Soviet Union and in Russia clearly noticed two students behaving inappropriately in class. She could tell that the instructor could not see what was happening. With 20 minutes remaining in the class, she wondered whether to intervene. The executive director must consider issues such as managing the classroom process, discipline, listening, classroom norms and disruptive students.
