Abstract
In the case study decision making processes on the financing of large- scale real estate projects are examined. The case study is divided into two parts. First of all, four decision making phases are explained in detail. Secondly, two assessed projects are analysed and the decision making processes for those two projects are described. Case questions centre around team decision making, perception of risks in the decision making process and how opinions of decision makers influence the outcome. The case study is designed to encourage discussion about the problems in team decision making as well as the problem of escalating commitment to chosen courses of action.
