Abstract

A Japanese construction manager in Nepal is faced with a local workforce that seems to him to have unreasonable demands and requests. After having several confrontations with his local engineering staff, he must decide how to handle a situation that is deteriorating day by day. The short B case describes what this manager did to manage the situation so that students can compare their suggestios with what happened - right or wrong.
