Abstract

This case presents the credit report and score of a recent college graduate who has credit card debt, an auto loan, and student loans. Participants are asked to evaluate his credit situation. This case can be used in a Borrowing Module. It can be used as a companion case with the 'Understanding Your Credit Report and Score' case if participants using that case have not yet established their own credit history, or if they are reluctant to access their own credit reports due to privacy concerns, anxiety, etc. The 'Understanding Your Credit Report and Score' case can be used as background material for this case. This case also can be used as a standalone case, perhaps to set up the 'Understanding Your Credit Report and Score' case.

Teaching and learning

This item is suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
