This is the second of a four-case series (501-027-1 to 501-030-1). This case examines the e-business strategy of Eastman Chemical Corporation as the company develops online customer service, Internet communities, on-line auctions, and content globalisation. The case describes Eastman''s Customer Enabling Program, partnerships and joint ventures with providers of systems integration, on-line procurement, logistics management, and other services to players in the chemical industry.
